Appreciate genuine friendships

Do you have a certain person in your life that just seems to always be there no matter what?
A friend that will not only encourage you but will also listen to you when times get tough and walk those lonely roads alongside you? I wanted to start a series of posts to celebrate the people in my life. Jayne Woodhouse-Brown - NHS employee and WRAP facilitator ......and friend. Today’s affirmations are from inspirational speakers Dale Carnegie..... ‘Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all’ ‘Inaction breeds doubt and fear, action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit at home and think about it. Go out and get busy’ Affirmation & Post shared by Jayne Woodhouse-Brown She has battled with bipolar and anxiety for nearly 10 years and is a fabulous example of someone with lived experience that helps and supports others.

As a WRAP facilitator for 7 years a great ambassador for Leeds Recovery College. People who have been forced to face their worst fears and more re-emerge stronger. Remember security lies not in having things, but handling things. She thoroughly believes we can tackle anything if we first learn how to handle it.
Gradual small steps.

I am blessed to have met Jayne who lead me on my WRAP journey in 2019 and we have become firm friends ever since.

“True friends are those who came into your life, saw the most negative part of you, but are not ready to leave you, no matter how contagious you are to them
