Taster Session Thursday 19th May 2022
Buckingham Care Home - Penistone
We are delighted to be able to support community activities for art for wellness with the "Create in the Community" scheme.
Invited to deliver a taster session at the local residential home in Penistone for residents to have the opportunity to be creative in a safe space.
The first session looking at simple colouring using pens and pencils on specially designed colouring pictures.
The emphasis being adding colour to paper, in their own way, in their own style. A chance to relax and enjoy the beauty of colouring.

"It was a pleasure to see how the residents took delight and joy from colouring, engaging in conversations and giving them support and encouragement.
The final pictures are absolutely beautiful each in their own way and show the diverse styles from abstract, colour combination, mixing colours.
