Strawberry Days
Imagine a bowl of strawberries fresh and juicy ready to eat.

Some weeks you forget about them and they go mouldy and mushy and you sadly have to through them away.

Other weeks you cant wait to taste those juicy treats and eat them one at a time.

Now imagine the strawberry as a sweet moment in your life.

Would you rather taste the strawberries and enjoy.

Or throw them away with sadness.

Inspiration from a wonderful friend encouragement to look at what you like to see, taste, special days. hobbies, people, pets, places, touch, small use your senses and be creative.

Humans have five basic senses: touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste.

These sensing organs are able to acknowledge and send information to the brain to help us understand and perceive the world around us.

Vision

Our vision is often thought of as the strongest of the senses. The reason being as That's because humans we tend to rely more on sight, rather than hearing or smell, for information about their environment.

In the natural world light on the visible spectrum is detected by your eyes when you look around.

Some of my creative projects have been based on what I see:

  • The eyes of animals and birds,

  • Through the window or gateway what can you see,

  • Sweet smell of roses

  • The feel of jigsaw puzzle pieces as you create your picture

  • Bright lights or fireworks in the sky

  • The soft touch of a feather

  • Listening to bees buzzing in the flowers

  • The smell of fresh laundry clean sheets on the bed

May this inspire you to think what would be your Strawberry Day.........

  • Where have you been?

  • What have you seen?

  • What's your favourite smell?

  • Do you like to touch your pet?

  • What senses do you enjoy and why?
