Worm Moon - The Full Moon in March

March: Worm Moon

The Full Moon in March, often referred to as the Worm Moon, marks a significant shift in nature's rhythm.

As the winter frost starts to loosen its grip, the ground begins to thaw, and earthworms emerge from their deepest hideouts.

This lunar event, observable on the nights of March 24, 25, and 26, offers a picturesque sight as the Moon appears full and round in the night sky.

While some may think that only southern Native American tribes dubbed it the Worm Moon, the truth is that this name resonates across various cultures and regions.

It serves as a reminder of the intricate dance between the seasons and the natural world, where each lunar cycle brings forth new life and beginnings.

So, as you gaze up at the luminous spectacle of the Worm Moon, take a moment to appreciate the subtle yet profound changes unfolding in the world around us.

Snow Moon - The Full Moon in February

February: Snow Moon

The next full moon is known as the snow moon. It is named after abundant snowfall in the Northern Hemisphere.

A time when it is pushing you to be productive while prioritising what's important to you.

A sense of positive change is on the horizon.

If you want to celebrate the snow moon, spend some time outdoors looking at the night sky on a clear night when no cloud cover is blocking your view. (If this is possible)

Alternatively, write on paper your wishlist put it inside (a box or a jar) and then set it outside to soak up the moonlight.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego. It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression. The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams. It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype. The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.

Good friends are like stars you don’t always see them but you know they are there.

Full Moon

The FULL MOON marks the midpoint of our 29 day lunar cycle.

During a Full Moon, the Moon is sitting opposite the Sun, on opposite sides of the zodiac … which can make for a challenging or intense aspect of energy a potential Lunar & Solar (yin & yang) are in natural harmonic balance.

The energy created by the Full Moon (influenced by the current Zodiac transit) is heightened and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc are all amplified.

The is a powerful time of gratitude a time to gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself.

For me I have a burning desire to express my creativity, and find the night before I have a sleepless night awoken with ideas and the need to let go of any aspects of my life that no longer serve me.

The Full Moon gives you an opportunity ‘moon bathe’ – simply sit under the light of the moon & meditate.

A time to breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release.

Of course this is purely my own perceptions and believes the choice of interpretation is your own.

Here I am sharing for those people who feel the same or can appreciate the magic feeling of a Full Moon.
