Sunflower 2023

Sunflowers are iconic, and bloom through Summer and into Autumn.

Much valued from an ornamental point of view as well as many other uses.

The leaves are used as fodder, the flowers yield a yellow dye, and the seeds contain oil and are used for food.

The blooms generally have large petals and captivating colour spectrums they never fail to impress.

Also known to emit positive energy and good vibes. Which is probably one of the reasons we love them so much.

“Never look directly at the sun, instead look at the sunflower.”

These photographs were taken on a recent day out to Norfolk and are truly some of the most beautiful I have ever seen all in one place. - Debbie
